I see that it came out in 1984, which means my elementary school library was right on the cusp with that acquisition (what up, Our Lady of Fatima!). You may also recognize this title from my wickedly awesome "Nostalgica" album on Pinterest. But anyways.

I'm like dyin', y'all! I officially need both books in my own collection. Anyone buying me any last minute Christmas gifts?!? You know, I have already got a Chapters giftcard this Yule season, so perhaps this will be what it goes towards.

I'd never heard of this book before (my school was not only out of the loop but also French). Luckily it's never too late for a good kids book. I'm especially enjoying 'The Seven Chairs' idea.
It's really worth taking a look at. I'm a little shocked I don't have a copy already, but I'm pretty convinced I'll be picking it up with my giftcard!
