On that City Hall Ice Rink

A one act play on the only way that ice skating rink that's being built outside of City Hall can redeem itself.

"I really fucking hate that skating rink."

{Stage Direction: Exaggerated sped up time lapse of apparent ranting about the skating rink, complete with physical gestures}

"They need to make it into a roller rink in the off season."

"YES!"

"But no rollerblades, just skates.  And Michael Jackson "Rock With You" playing"

"That's it - I'm making myself in charge of the new City Hall Roller Rink's playlist.  Which will consist almost exclusively of the ELO soundtrack to Xanadu, and 'Rock With You.'"

"You know, why hasn't Time Life done a "Songs of the Roller Rink" compilation yet?  It's more than time for that."
